Ascoli Piceno is the province in the Marche region where people live best. This is established by the historic "Il Sole 24 ore" quality of life ranking, where for the year 2019 the Piceno province is among the top 30, placing 26th, one step higher than the result of 2018, where it came 27th.
In particular, the lead is strengthened with innovative start-ups where the province of Ascoli Piceno achieves fourth place. It also confirms itself as a responsive territory in terms of business dynamism with seventh place for the number of registered businesses per 100 inhabitants.
Cultural offerings also go up with a placing in second place and a record number of movie theaters per inhabitants. Positive figures are also recorded in the tourism sector, with tenth place achieved for days spent in the province.
On the security side, crimes are down and there are significant decreases in various joints of this index due to the efforts of law enforcement and the cooperation of citizens.
According to Provincial President Sergio Fabiani, there is so much untapped potential that needs to be encouraged to emerge and unfold, and this will be a great challenge for the future.
