One suggestion comes from the Green Flags 2020, which report the best Italian beaches (and not) suitable for children aged 0-18 years, a list studied by Italian pediatricians.
And also this year Grottammare had its recognition.
The green flag indicates child-friendly seaside locations with The following main features:
- strand of the beach very wide and fine
- Sufficient space between umbrellas for playing
- shallow water and clear, clean water
- presence of beach rescuers and lifeguards
- Dedicated children's equipment and facilities designed for the family (stores, restaurants, bars,sports centers and playgrounds)
