Our Grottammare returns to ride the national wave. The Minister of Education, Patrizio Bianchi, and the Commander General of the Port Authority Corps, Giovanni Pettorino, on the occasion of Sea Day 2021, remotely connected with the school delegation of Grottammare's Antonio Locatelli - Virgo Lauretana Institute, led by Professor Giuseppe Di Giminiani. The institute placed second in the literary competition "The Citizenship of the Sea." The online meeting was also attended by the winning school delegations. Last year's fifth graders from Virgo Lauretana, led by Teacher Sonia Elia, created a text, titled "The Friend of the Sea," which tells the story of the young seagull, Oliver, who loved playing with the clouds and flying free and happy.
