GROTTAMMARE: THE FILMING OF THE FICTION "Disco-Teck" HAS STARTED.

The drama produced by Maxafilm and directed by Mario Santocchio revolves around the world of nightclubs and supports the project of decompression chambers outside discotheques.

GROTTAMMARE - Ciak, it's shooting again on the Riviera delle Palme. This time it is the fiction 'Disco-Teck', produced by Maxafilm and directed by Mario Santocchio. The protagonists include actor Domenico Balsamo, who has already starred in Gomorra, Le tre rose di Eva and L'onore e il rispetto; DJ and actress Eleonora Rossi; Miss Italia finalist Ilenia Bravetti; and actress Roberta Scardola, whom we have already seen in I Cesaroni. The locations chosen: the Cafè del Mar in Grottammare, the Gusto TrePuntoZero seafood restaurant in Martinsicuro and the Villa Gattopardo disco in Alba Adriatica. Also supporting the project are the Ristorante Pizzeria Enoteca Vecchia Lampada and the Falco Azzurro hotel in Martinsicuro.

"The fiction is about the world of nightclubs, with all its annexes and connections," says Maxafilm production director Simona Cisale. "We will develop the language of today's society, but not only, because we want to support the project on decompression chambers outside discotheques to prevent nighttime carnage, so there is an important social background. The decompression chambers aim to relax young people after the euphoria of the evening, so that they are more careful when driving, and they employ trained volunteers.

One of the intentions of the fiction is to promote our territory: 'I shot a film here four years ago and I fell in love with two things in particular, namely the places and the food,' says director Mario Santocchio. 'The project consists of six episodes, so at least we will need eight months to shoot everything, because we are at the first episode. It will be aired on the Mediaset networks'.
"Giulia Rizzardi's Giulia Fashion Events & Management agency carried out the casting for the extras and figures, and also took care of the choice of locations, making the local boys work and giving space to local activities," recalls production assistant Vincenzo Funaro, Giulia Rizzardi's husband. The latter declared herself very satisfied with having brought the drama to the Riviera and her boys to the set: "It's a good group and the atmosphere is fun. It's really a boost for the area, which is also useful from a business point of view, because it involves a lot of people. I always tell young people that they must study, so much so that we want to set up a film and television school here in the area to prepare and launch them. If they lack preparation they can aspire at best to be extras, instead we want to propose them for other roles. Also because only then can they know if this is their path'.
