In medieval heart Of the high country is definitely worth visiting Peretti Square, agora arose in honor by Pope Sixtus V, where a statue of him from 1794 made by Swiss artist Stefano Interlenghi is located. In the square arise important buildings, including the church of St. John the Baptist, work realized even in the '300 then fully rebuilt in 1802 by Ticino architect Pietro Maggi.
